After acquiring a piece of 1.4 hectre land in early 2014, soil was filled to level the land in 2016. The boundary wall and gate was then built in 2018 and an interim office/ guardhouse was built in 2019.
The construction of the Learners’ Village will be done in phases. The next step is to lay the foundation for the entire site and build the annex building to accommodate the training programmes and community activities.
If you or your organisation would like to contribute directly towards the building of the Learners’ Village, you may consider our “Sponsor A Room” scheme. By sponsoring a room in the Learners’ Village, you are giving the key to unlock endless opportunities through education. A Sponsor Plaque will be displayed outside the room. You could also feature your sponsor’s story and the hope and dreams you have for our students. For more information, please contact us at siloamcambodia@gmail.com
It may seem like a big and audacious goal to build a training institute of this scale without any major sponsors backing this project but we see this as critical in bringing lasting transformation to Cambodia. As such, we are willing to take baby steps and do whatever we can to see it come to pass. We hope you will join us in this journey of building the Learners' Village that will impact generations of Cambodians. If you share the same vision as us and would like to support our big and audacious goal in any way, get in touch with us today!
What I can do, you might not be able to.
What you can do, I might not be able.
However, together we can do more than we can imagine.
We cannot turn the other way when someone is in need while we have the means to make a difference.
Let’s join efforts to make this world a better place... starting from us.
